Sauté Tip: Hot, Hot, Hot, then, not

If you like your vegetables crunchy when sautéed instead of mushy vegetables try this  easytip:


  • When sautéing vegetables, make sure that your pan is hot. 
  • You can tell that your pan is hot by getting your hand wet and then flicking water on the pan. If the pan sizzles then it is hot. 
  • Then once you add the vegatebles turn the heat down to low or off.  I like to keep it on low.
